New Hampshire's Consent to
Adoption Law

The consent may be signed 72 hours following the birth. If the birth mother is under the age of 18, New Hampshire state law also requires the consent of one of her parents. According to Jim Bianco (2/27/08) BM must attend court hearing which is no sooner than 72 hours after birth however takes about 2 weeks-AF has to stay in NH whole time-can not file ICPC before BM attends court.

Pre-consents are not allowed in the state of New Hampshire.

Revocation Time Frame in New Hampshire

The consent is irrevocable upon signing.
